No More Miss Bohol Sandugo 2014

Starting this year, Bohol’s most prestigious pageant go back to being Miss Bohol minus the appellation “Sandugo”. This is to highlight the name of the province and to distinguish it from the Miss Sandugo International to be staged next year.

The renaming of the pageant is symbolic of the new direction that the pageant will be headed to. The prestigious beauty pageant reinvents itself from the quintessential symbol of Boholana beauty and brain during Sandugo festivities into Bohol’s ambassadress of goodwill as the province strives to carve its niche as a prime eco-cultural tourism destination with equal regard for advocacies rooted in development thrusts in health, education, environment, and cultural heritage.

With no less than the First Lady of the Province Pureza Veloso-Chatto at the helm and co-chaired by Tagbilaran City First Lady Jane Censoria Cajes-Yap, the Miss Bohol 2014 pageant promises to be a showcase of Boholana elegance in simplicity.

The candidate who shall be crowned Miss Bohol 2014, the beauty title of the highest esteem, shall represent the province in official functions during her reign.
