Bb. Pilipinas 2012 1st runner-up, Annalie "Ali"
Forbes has been selected as the official Miss Grand Philippines, which earned
her the right to represent the country in the very first edition of Miss Grand
International in November. Currently a model, singer & part-time actress,
Ali is now carrying the hopes of her countrymen for another crown at the
upcoming international pageant which will bring together over 80 contestants in
Thailand. Another promising pageant, another launching, another worldwide
beauty extravaganza, Miss Grand International is unlike any other beauty
pageant as each delegate will become advocates of peace through their
"Stop the War" campaign which will also be delivered across the
world.
Nawat Itsaragrisil, president and founder of the pageant flew over to Manila to
personally choose the Philippine delegate from a selection of beauty queens
coming from various national pageants. Nawat is one of the most renowned &
highly respected personalities in Thailand who traveled to over 170 countries
as a television host & reporter. He awarded the national directorship to no
other than John De La Vega, an acclaimed beauty queen maker & stage/events
director in the Philippines.
I could say the Philippines' bet is now brimming with so much beauty,
confidence & charisma! She's in great shape too. And im very sure Ali's
doll-like features & refreshing personality would be a hit in Thailand!
