We can really conclude that in the past 5 years,

Our country performed very well.

Even better than Venezuela’s performance

(again in the past 5 years).

For three straight years already, the Philippines has been very effective in beating the strong Latina rivals Misses Venezuela and Puerto Rico. In 2010, Venus Raj edged out Mariana Vicente of Puerto Rico who settled for the top 10 spot Venezuela’s Marelisa Gibson was unplaced.

In 2011, Shamcey Supsup  won over Viviana Ortiz of Puerto Rico and Vanessa Goncalves of Venezuela who only settled in top 16.

In 2012, Janine Tugonon topped over Irene Esser of Venezuela who settled for the second runner up slot and Bodine Koehler of Puerto Rico was a clapper.

Will this lucky streak in 2013 continue? We are keeping our fingers crossed!
