The Story Behind Miss Earth

When the brand owner of Mutya ng Plilipinas and Ms Asia Pacific decided not to renew their contract with Carousel.... Lorraine and Peachy taught it was the end of their happy days. During those times, people could not phantom the creation of a new international contest.

The rights to produce Mutya and Ms Asia Pacific was bought by GMA 7. Carousel could not match the offer by the network so they had no other choice but to create Miss Earth.

It was actually Peachy who can be considered as the brain child of the MISS EARTH--- during the farewell walk of Ms Asia Pacific 1999, she wished Peachy and Carousel Productions the best of luck for Ms Earth!!! At that time, people were also doubting if it will work.... I mean "Ms Earth" sounded like a mother's pageant and worst, calling runners-up Ms Air, Water and Fire was cheesy, it sounded like the famous band in the 60s (Earth Wind and Fire)

But just after the launch of Ms Philippines Earth--- people began to take notice of the pageant... Carlene Aguilar was a beautiful winner and her victory helped the pageant to get the attention it needed. Then came Ms Earth which was attended by outstanding girls from the MW and MU- even the MI...... it also helped that the winner, Ms Denmark, came from a non-power house country which encouraged other countries to join ME. The production and advocacy was unique; the format was refereshing; and the girls were beautiful".

Looking back, I think the right formula is to take care of the Franchise owners and ultimately the girl representing her country. The pageant, is ultimately reviewed by the contestant (not the fans) and her reviews are passed on the franchise owner... which keeps the delegates coming and increasing all throughout the years.

Thank You Miss Earth 2012, Tereza Fajksova!

Tereza Fajksova is an accomplished pageant veteran. She competed previously in the Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2010 and was named as the second runner-up. She also managed to be called as one of the top 24 semi-finalists of Miss Bikini International 2011.

In 2012, She was able to obtain the title Czech Miss Earth, and this gave her the opportunity to join Miss Earth 2012 wherein she was declared as the new woman of the Earth. With this attainment, she became the first Czech to procure the Miss Earth title and the first European to grab the title of Miss Earth in a decade and became the third woman from Europe to be tagged as Miss Earth. 

Tereza was highlighted in innumerable magazine covers. Well, she is irrefutably flawless and perfect in every photo of her! In addition, Tereza was also invited in countless fashion shows. Well, this kind of incontrovertibly dazzling, faultless, and remarkable beauty deserves to be put on view in the whole world!

She is indeed one of the most well-loved beauty queens of all time, and she will always be remembered as one of the most beautiful beauty queens in the entire history of pageantry.
