Many
netizens lambasted Missosology pageant website CEO Pawee Ventura and the
members of Gouldian Team, the beauty training arm of the Missosology website,
after the controversial victory of Miss Thailand representatives Phataraporn
Wang in Miss Intercontinental and Parapadsorn Disdamrong’s first runner up
finish in Miss Supranational 2014. Pageant followers believed Pawee had a hand
in the results.
Vince
Sarala, one of the most respected pageant photographers, posted in his
facebook: “Miss Intercontinental - DIESE PAGEANT IST EIN WITZ! THIS PAGEANT IS
A JOKE! - Not part of original top 5 wins the crown - Not even queen of her
continent (Asia) - because Philippines got Queen of Asia, but eventually gets Intercontinental
crown? - Did not even answer well in the Q&A (it's not the ability to speak
in English, it's just the answer itself) Not bashing the beauty, pointing out
facts.”

Nikolas Zaragosa on The Pageant
Queens fb group said, “To pawee and his group, all pinoys hate you so much. All
of you can laugh on us. You all can ignore us and celebrate the success you all
traitors are saying. But mind this, respect is hard to gain when you lost it.
Money is what matters to all of you gouldian gays. But filipinos give
importance to patriotism. And you all throw it just to gain something from
other nations. You cant blame us if we got furious. We are just giving you the
taste of your own medicine. Shame on you, gouldian gays.”
It must be remembered that Pawee
also sat as one of the judges during the Mister Global 2014 which was
eventually won by Mister Mynmar, who was trained under Gouldian! Macoy
Manlapaz, one of the companions of Pawee, sat as one of the judges for Miss
Supranational, but was also responsible for the training of Miss Thailand and
Miss Mynmar. The latter entered the top 10 while the Thai beauty was first
runner up.
Rafa Delfin also posted in
Critical Beauty, “I would never pick a girl with yellow teeth as the winner.
Would you?” while posting the photo of Miss Intercontinental winners.
Despite
Pawee’s bashing almost eclipsing the victory of Miss India at the Miss
Supranational, there are those who chose to congratulate the winners. A pageant
follower said, “Congratulations Miss
India. Congrats fellow Southeast Asian Miss Thailand for landing as 1st Runner
Up. Filipino and Thai pageant fans should rather be friends, not enemies. What
matters is that we, as developing countries, are proving our worth through
prestigious beauty pageant.”
