Czarina Rosales for Binibining Pilipinas 2014!

Czarina was a finalist in ABS-CBN's singing reality search, STAR IN A MILLION (Season 1) where Erik Santos emerged as the Grand winner. ABS-CBN is the largest TV network in the Philippines. Some of her batchmates in this contest were Sheryn Regis and Christian Bautista, now famous singers in the Philippines. SIAM season 1 is probably the strongest batch of singers in the history of this singing reality search. Czarina was the youngest contestant then; she was only 16 years old when she joined this contest. She still remembers one of the audience saying that she should be eliminated first because she's more of a beauty queen type. After 10 years, she appreciates what that person said about her. Now she'll be fulfilling her dream of becoming a beauty queen and a famous international singer as well through MISS ASIA PACIFIC WORLD 2013!

After her first singing reality search, Czarina became a member of the girl band FILIPINAS. FILIPINAS starts a brand new chapter in the live band circuit as it conquers the stage of the metro’s top night spots. Whether backed by live musicians or using canned instrumental music, these girls deliver their take on classic retro favorites, the most soulful ballads and the hottest hip-shaking dance tunes. Their impeccable vocal harmony is matched by their graceful moves and energetic dance routines. Easy on the ears and pleasant to the eyes, this trio will definitely sizzle once they hit the stage. FILIPINAS is launching their debut album soon.


Czarina is 5'9 tall and weighs 108 lbs. Her vital stats are 33-23-34.

Miss Universe 2003 Story: Carla Balingit

Carla Gay Balingit won the Binibining Pilipinas 2003 and represented her country at the Miss Universe 2003 pageant which was won by Dominican Republic's Amelia Vega.

Carla was born and raised in Pampanga, a province north of Manila, that has produced many Binibini beauties like Melanie Marquez (Binibining Pilipinas International 1979), Violeta Nalus (Binibining Pilipinas Universe 1986), Abbygail Arenas (Binibining Pilipinas Universe 1997), Marilen Espino (Binibining Pilipinas World 1991), Joanne Santos (Binibining Pilipinas Universe 1995) among others. Carla represented Pampanga after she won Miss Mexico, and Mutya ning Kapampangan in 2002.

Carla attended Holy Angel University, coincidentally the school of fellow beauty queens Abbygail Arenas, Melanie Marquez, Marilen Espino, and Violeta Nalus.
