Although she is a looker herself, Lauren Young doesn’t want to follow in
the footsteps of her older sister, the Philippines’ bet to the Miss World
pageant this year.
“I’m scared of joining beauty contests,” Lauren admits. “Natatakot ako na matalo. My sister won the first time she joined a pageant.”
The heat, in other words, is too much, and Lauren wants none of it. Lauren thinks she has to get it right the first time as well.
So she’d rather focus on proving herself as an actress.
