Miss Universe 2014, will be the 63rd Miss Universe pageant, to be held on January 25, 2015 at the FIU Arena at Florida International University in Doral, Miami, Florida, USA. Eighty-eight contestants from all over the world will compete for the crown. Gabriela Isler of Venezuela will crown her successor at end of the event. The winner of the pageant will get to wear the new crown made by Diamonds International Corporation, a Czech based jeweller, the newest official jewelry maker of Miss Universe.

Miss Earth 2014 Trivia, Controversies and Scandals

Ana Batarelo was appointed as "Miss Earth Croatia 2014" by Miss Croatia Organization after seeing Ana's personal Facebook account.

Tugsuu Idersaikhan has been designated as "Miss Earth Mongolia 2014". The original winner resigned because of commitment issues.

Elba Fahsbender was crowned as "Miss Earth Peru 2014" by Miss Peru Organization. She was Miss World Peru 2013.

Patrycja Dorywalska was appointed as "Miss Earth Poland 2014" due to the rescheduling of the Miss Polonia 2014 pageant to December 2014. She was Miss Polonia 2012 2nd Runner-up.

Dayanna Grageda, the reigning Miss Earth Australia, has been stripped off of her title for not fulfilling her duties. She was replaced by Miss Fire, Nadine Roberts.

Miss Venezuela Organization decided not to allow Stephanie de Zorzi to compete due to weight issues. Maira Alexandra Rodríguez, the Miss Earth Venezuela 2014 who would compete the following year and de Zorzi's successor, replaced her to compete in this edition instead.

Miss Dominican Republic Mayté Brito is Miss Global Teen 2010.

Miss Ecuador María José Maza is Miss Pan-American International 2013.

Miss Pakistan Shanzay Hayat is top 20 in Miss Grand International 2013.

 Miss Peru Elba Fahsbender, Miss Romania Andreea Chiru and Miss Namibia Paulina Malulu competed with Megan Young in Miss World 2013.

Will Koreen Medina Win?

Is KOREEN MEDINA from the Philippines a first Filipina to win the crown as Miss Intercontinental 2013?

It’s been how many years since Miss Intercontinental was established. So far Philippines never win this elusive crown yet. Andrea Koreen Garcia Medina, from Quezon City, Philippines, stands at 5 ft. 7 inches tall. Won the top title as Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific International 2013, and serve as the representative from the Philippines to compete Miss Intercontinental 2013, this coming December 14, 2013, at Magdeburg, Germany.

Aside from Mutya Ng Pilipinas, K0REEN also won the Grand Champion in 2011 Coca-Cola Music Talent Search and the Grand Winner of 2012 “My Girl” a pageant-like search of Ch2Abs-Cbn, the popular TV station in the Philippines.
