Binibining Pilipinas 2015, the 52nd edition of Binibining Pilipinas, was held
on March 15, 2015 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines. At
the end of the pageant Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach was crowned Miss Universe
Philippines 2015.
Pia already joined the Binibining Pilipinas three
times. She was a runner up in 2013, a finalist last year, and the top plum this
year. She is from Cagayan de Oro City.
Last year, another lady from Mindanao bagged the
crown. MJ Lastimosa, a Mutya ng Davao winner, who represented Cotabato made
waves in Miss Universe 2014 for entering the top 10.
