The search for the Lady who will
represent the Fil-Am community in the 2014 Miss World Philippines is near. The
Miss Philippines Quest USA 2014 is organized by Synergy Production and one.10
Collection, franchise holders of Miss World Philippines in the United States
and Global Quest Inc. led by MWP National Director Cory Quirino. The coronation
night will be on July 12, 2014 to be held at Symphony Space (2537 Broadway and
95th Street, New York NY.)
10 beautiful and talented Fil-Am Ladies will vie for the coveted title. During the media presentation the ladies breezed through the q and a with the judges present (Photographer Rick Holbrook, ramp model Barbara Frez and Event Designer Jerry Sibal).
The Candidates vying for the crown
are the following:
1. Alexa Kirby, 18-year-old high school graduate from Romansville, Pennsylvania
2. Norella Nacia, 24-year-old Miss Earth Philippines-Miss Friendship 2011 from Passaic New Jersey
3. Isabella Estella, 24-year-old internationally educated public relations and marketing practitioner and filmmaker
4. Misook Mendoca, 20-year-old nursing student at Rutgers University in New Jersey
5. Jenica Balmes, 23-year-old B.S. Psychology graduate from Holy Family University in Pennsylvania
6. Melissa Ocampo, 24-year-old CBS Sports Production Assistant from Levittown New York
7. Erin Manansala, 19-year-old freshman at Fairleigh Dickinson University from Garfield, New York
8. Shina Lingat, 18-year-old upcoming criminal justice student at Farmingdale State University in Long Island, New York
9. Dominique Ivory, 22-year-old music and journalism student at Bergen Community College in New Jersey
10. Danielle Savitsky, 19-year-old junior at Clarion University in Pennsylvania
The event will be hosted by former beauty queen Bessie Badilla with performances by Fil-Am artists Anthea, Roberto Villanueva and Eric G. The winner will receive an allowance of one thousand dollars, round trip tickets to the Philippines and represent the Fil-Am Community and will wear a stunning evening gown courtesy of one.10 collection during the Miss World Philippines Coronation Night in Manila later this year.
