Miss International 2013 is on-going in
Japan right now and on the 17th, a new Miss International will be
crowned and asked to represent the organizations cause. But just like any
pageants, Miss International is not spared from intrigues and scandals. Here
are some:
Miss Argentina Zaida Schoop withdrew from the pageants due to lack
sponsorship.
Miss Honduras Natalia Coto was sent back
from Tokyo because the national director did not inform the Japanese committee
that she was replacing Jennifer Valle.
Miss Lebanon Deedee Zibara was replaced
by Layla Yarak due to some serious issues between Ms. Zibara and the committee.
Miss Spain Araceli Carrilero Martínez
replaced by Jara Rodríguez. Araceli was the 1st Runner-up after being Jara
Rodriguez was originally crowned, but she gave up the title.
Miss Sri Lanka Simerene Rabot and Miss Turkey Ahu Agisbas withdrew
from the pageant because they were already over-aged.
Miss Venezuela Elian Herrera fell off
from her feet at the stage during the press presentation.
