PH First Runners Up in the Big 4

Being first runner up is not bad.

As it is always said during the coronation night,

“In the event that the winner is not able

To fulfill her duties,

Then the first runner up shall take over.”

So far, in the Big 4, we had

Evangeline Pascual in Miss World 1973;

Miriam Quiambao in Miss Universe 1999;

Sandra Seifert in Miss Earth 2009;

Gwendolyn Ruais in Miss World 2011;

Janine Tugonon in Miss Universe 2012, and

Stephany Stefanowitz in Miss Earth 2012.

We don't have First Runner Up yet in the Miss International.
